IT Support Specialist

About the role

Barentz is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join its Modern Workplace team in China. The role focuses on delivering end‑user support across the APAC region, using a range of Microsoft SaaS solutions and ITSM tools. You will work closely with global and local engineers to implement and standardise IT infrastructure and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑line support for end users via the ITSM platform, handling requests, incidents and asset management.
• Configure, troubleshoot and maintain Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, Exchange and Teams environments.
• Deploy, manage and support Windows 10/11 devices and related applications, including Zero‑Touch provisioning.
• Collaborate with system, network and security engineers on on‑premises and cloud infrastructure topics.
• Perform data migrations, manage permissions and support video‑conferencing equipment.
• Travel occasionally within the APAC region to support local offices.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of corporate IT support experience.
• Professional certifications such as Microsoft Modern Workplace, ITIL 4 Foundation, or equivalent.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work independently and in a global team.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving.
