IT Service Engineer – Onsite Support

About the role

As an IT Service Engineer II you will be the primary onsite point of contact for workplace technology, delivering high‑quality support to employees and ensuring smooth operation of digital workplace services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on onsite support for hardware, software, mobile devices, peripherals and meeting‑room equipment.
• Resolve incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs, handling escalations as needed.
• Support hardware installations, software deployments, desk moves and other technology changes.
• Manage local IT assets, including repairs, lifecycle activities, disposal and recycling.
• Deliver Smart Hands assistance for network and server equipment in collaboration with remote teams.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support, service engineering or workplace technology.
• Strong customer‑service mindset with excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with local and remote teams.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities, including day‑to‑day operations, projects and technology rollouts.

Required skills

• Hands‑on knowledge of Windows 11 and iOS operating systems.
• Experience with hardware, software, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Understanding of IT service‑management principles, SLAs and incident management.
• Familiarity with network and server equipment support (Smart Hands).
