Integral Project Leader (Project Management)

About the role

You will lead complex, cross‑functional projects from concept through market introduction or internal delivery, aligning with Philips' strategic objectives. The role requires coordinating multiple business domains, external partners, and customers to ensure successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define strategic direction for projects and related programs, articulating schedules and interdependencies for stakeholders.
• Identify risks, issues and mitigation actions, escalating when necessary while fostering a balanced risk‑taking environment.
• Apply daily management and problem‑solving methods, driving innovative solutions that improve product development and operational efficiency.
• Track and report KPIs, project status, and milestone approvals to senior stakeholders.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and ensure compliance with corporate policies and change‑management procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, business or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience leading large, complex engineering/R&D projects using structured methodologies (PMP, Prince2, Agile).
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills, fluent in English and Chinese.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Required skills

• Project Management expertise (PMP, Prince2, Agile).
• Technical knowledge of electronics design for consumer/household products.
• Understanding of mechanical design principles for product development.
