About the role

As an HVAC Design Engineer you will create mechanical concepts for automotive air‑conditioning blowers, ensuring they meet customer requirements and Bosch’s internal design standards. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to bring reliable, high‑quality components to production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop mechanical concepts based on customer specifications and internal guidelines.
• Apply product engineering methods such as DRBFM and DFMEA during the development phase.
• Generate detailed 2D drawings, component specifications and release the Bill of Materials on schedule.
• Conduct risk assessments for product and process deviations.
• Utilise basic knowledge of plastic part molding processes.
• Lead technical discussions with suppliers, ensuring component quality in collaboration with purchasing.
• Approve purchased parts for validation and support series release.
• Apply engineering problem‑solving methods (e.g., 8D, PS) and provide technical support to internal departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in HVAC blower design.
• Fluent communication in English and Chinese.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team.
