HR Manager – Greater China

About the role

Le Creuset is looking for an HR Manager to lead people initiatives across the Greater China region, based in Shanghai. The role will develop and execute HR strategies that support business growth for both office and retail teams.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to design and implement people strategies aligned with regional objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor on workforce planning, talent management, employee relations and organizational effectiveness.
• Oversee end‑to‑end HR operations including onboarding, contracts, employee lifecycle management and HRIS data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with group policies and local labor regulations while adapting processes to regional nuances.
• Support retail leadership on workforce planning, staffing optimization, new store openings, restructuring and performance metrics.
• Lead performance management cycles, talent development programs and employee engagement initiatives.
• Manage compensation, benefits, learning and development, and overall employee experience.
• Head General Affairs, ensuring effective office administration, workplace management and employee services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR business partnering and retail HR management.
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with strong operational execution.
• Experience working in a multi‑site, fast‑growing environment.
• Knowledge of Chinese labour regulations and ability to adapt global HR policies locally.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, with strong communication skills.
