Group Manager ECU Technology

About the role

Group manager for ECU technologies (AIT) development and industrialization for automotive products. Lead an R&D group with multiple technical scopes for global and local AIT development, industrialization and integration in power modules, ECU mechanical final assembly, and process reliability simulation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the R&D group across global and local AIT development, industrialization and integration.
• Work within the global engineering and CoC network for know‑how exchange and competence transfer.
• Derive department strategy and regularly update group strategy.
• Drive innovation and market‑fit technologies based on local and global market requirements.
• Collaborate with customers, mechanical engineering, and manufacturing to achieve project success.
• Define and implement sustainable competence management.
• Continuously improve associate development through career talks, feedback and coaching.
• Manage group resources and capacity according to project prioritisation.
• Assure BES front loading (BOSCH Engineering System) using DRBFM, MBE, PS, FAM and risk burn‑down.
• Support preventative quality culture and IDC prevention, reduction and rework.

Required profile

• Master's degree with an international engineering background.
• Experience in semiconductor or power electronics, preferably in assembly and interconnect technology.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Experience working in international teams.
• Strong PE mindset and systematic approach.
