Group Finance Director

About the role

The Group Finance Director will lead the financial strategy and management for a multinational group, overseeing budgeting, accounting, treasury, tax, and internal controls across subsidiaries and overseas operations.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in group strategic planning, formulate financial strategy aligned with business development.
• Establish and improve budgeting, accounting, management analysis, cost, treasury, tax and internal control systems.
• Coordinate financial management of the group and subsidiaries, drive standardisation of systems, processes and data.
• Manage overseas business financial governance, cross‑border treasury, tax planning and compliance.
• Participate in capital planning, equity management, investment and financing, and employee equity incentive design.
• Build and digitalise the finance team, enhancing professional and efficient group finance operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Financial Management or related fields.
• At least 10 years of finance management experience in oil & gas, energy or manufacturing, including senior group or business‑unit roles.
• Experience in overseas financial management, cross‑border operations and international tax compliance.
• Strong strategic perspective, business partnering mindset, organisational leadership and complex problem‑solving abilities.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA are preferred.
