General Ledger Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team, responsible for ensuring accurate month‑end close, statutory reporting and compliance under PRC GAAP and US GAAP. The role will work with ERP, SAP and Hyperion systems to maintain the integrity of financial data.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly closing checklists and monitor deadlines.
• Maintain SAP access and perform system checks.
• Prepare local statutory and statistical reports on a monthly and annual basis.
• Update lease contracts in the corporate system and verify entries.
• Handle expense accruals, amortization and foreign currency translation adjustments.
• Manage fixed assets and coordinate the annual physical count.
• Review accounting subjects and configure them in the ERP system.
• Upload monthly bookings from ERP to Hyperion and address SOX queries.
• Coordinate internal and external audits under PRC GAAP and US GAAP.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in financial accounting or a related field; ACCA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably with computerized accounting systems.
• Strong knowledge of PRC GAAP and US GAAP.
• Demonstrated reliability, ability to meet multiple deadlines and work independently.
