Fuselage Equipping Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

This position supports the production process of fuselage equipping for A320/A321 aircraft at Airbus' facility in China. The engineer will bring manufacturing engineering expertise to ensure technical compliance and smooth workflow across the fuselage equipping line.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and support all folio points (S0x, S99, NC, DQN, GTI, Concession) for structure, electrical and mechanical domains.
• Coordinate technical solutions between Front Office, Back Office and suppliers.
• Steer work orders into production, support FIP enablement and hand‑over to the shop floor.
• Create NC folio points, declarative documents and manage concessions and DQN requests.
• Generate and update repair/rework work orders, launch SOX assistance requests and manage special part manufacturing.
• Order secondary free‑issue parts in SAP and map NDT requests for NCs.
• Prepare daily Front Office meetings, track NC rectification progress and ensure final zone closure following FOD rules.
• Provide technical analysis on aircraft, DMU and system data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (aeronautics a plus).
• More than 5 years of experience in the aviation industry.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); French or German a plus.
• Strong communication, leadership and time‑management abilities.
• Commitment to compliance and integrity.

Required skills

• Manufacturing engineering experience with non‑conformity and concession handling.
• Familiarity with fuselage structure and system installation.
• Knowledge of aircraft drawing sets and configuration.
• Proficiency with SAP, ACPNG, @AirNav, PPS, PPV and PFEMA tools.
• Ability to perform technical analysis in DMU and aircraft systems.
