Function Test & Equipment Development Engineer

About the role

Join Bosch Group in Suzhou as a Function Test and Equipment Development Engineer, responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of automotive electronic control units (ECUs) during the development phase. You will collaborate with internal and external customers, hardware and software teams, and German colleagues to deliver reliable test solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead product function testing for variant, platform, and test service projects, meeting cost, time, and quality targets.
• Serve as the primary contact for functional test requirements from internal and external customers.
• Work closely with HW/SW engineers to define testing specifications and design ECU testing methods.
• Develop, debug, and qualify test systems using C, C#, Perl, LabVIEW or other languages.
• Ensure test equipment stability and data reliability according to specifications.
• Collaborate on system architecture, communication protocols, and firmware flashing using C++ or related tools.
• Maintain test equipment hardware and software, and support laboratory digitization initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing performance, cost, and quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in electronic engineering or electrical automation.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Strong sense of responsibility and efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills and advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
