About the role
TransPerfect Games is seeking a freelance Game Localization QA Tester to work on‑site in China. You will help ensure that games are accurately localized from Simplified Chinese to Russian, supporting a smooth player experience.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, document, and verify localization issues in game text and UI.
- Make text adjustments, write detailed bug reports, and perform regression testing.
- Increase LQA capacity to prevent stability problems and project delays.
- Provide agile verification for pre‑launch issues and urgent post‑launch fixes.
- Assist with translation of urgent announcement emails when required.
Required profile
- Passionate gamer with strong attention to detail.
- Experience in Gaming LQA testing for Simplified Chinese → Russian.
- Native‑level Simplified Chinese (excellent spelling and grammar).
- Professional or near‑native Russian language skills.
- Legal right to work onsite in Shanghai or Hangzhou (valid work permit).
- Familiarity with open‑world, RPG, or anime‑style games is a plus.
