Financial Controlling Analyst – Shanghai

About the role

As a Financial Controlling Analyst you will act as a critical financial business partner for Bosch's regional operations in China. You will work closely with business units and cross‑functional teams to drive performance, provide insight, and support decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct profitability analysis and review results with business functions to identify improvement opportunities.
• Interpret business insights to support effective operational flow and strategic decisions.
• Participate actively in target setting and rolling‑forecast processes.
• Track performance results, collaborate with counterparts, and ensure achievement of targets.
• Prepare review presentations based on validated analysis.
• Leverage digital and AI tools to optimise processes and improve efficiency.
• Handle ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Required profile

• Strong analytical capabilities with a data‑driven mindset.
• Proficiency in using digital and AI tools for daily work.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills while maintaining influence.
• Eagerness to learn across business areas and quick learning ability.
• Self‑motivated, high work ethic, and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Familiarity with SAP; experience with the Icona system is a plus.
