Financial Analyst – Regional Management

About the role

Cabot Corporation is seeking a Financial Analyst to support regional management with financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis. The role partners with finance, commercial, and product teams to drive data‑driven decisions across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze management information and review business results with the finance team.
• Coordinate monthly forecasting and variance analysis for volume, revenue, variable cost, and margin.
• Conduct outlier and trend analysis on customer, product, and regional margin results.
• Support annual budgeting, providing input for regional VM, NWC, and STA and presenting scenario analyses.
• Prepare Net Working Capital forecasts to optimize cash flow.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide pricing support and margin impact analysis in partnership with commercial and product managers.
• Build and maintain finance dashboards for real‑time performance monitoring and respond to ad‑hoc business requests.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA with finance emphasis is a plus.
• Minimum five years of experience as a financial analyst, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, analysis, reporting, and budgeting.
• Ability to build trust and influence stakeholders across the organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
