Finance Manager, China

About the role

Jamieson Wellness is expanding its China operations and seeks a Finance Manager to lead accounting and controlling functions. Reporting to the China Finance Director, you will ensure compliance with Canadian headquarters, PRC statutory requirements, and international accounting standards while managing working capital and cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of five accounting staff and oversee financial reporting for five entities in accordance with PRC, Hong Kong, IFRS, and Group policies.
• Lead the preparation of the monthly reporting package and collaborate with FP&A for internal and external reporting.
• Organize annual financial, internal control, and ITGC audits, and supervise physical counts of inventory and fixed assets.
• Oversee tax filings and statutory reporting, acting as the primary liaison between Canada finance, local tax consultants, and legal advisors.
• Support strategic initiatives such as tax planning, entity restructuring, and banking optimization to reduce risk and improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading accounting teams in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of PRC Mainland and Hong Kong financial standards, IFRS, and Group accounting policies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross‑border tax compliance and audit processes.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders in China and Canada.
