Finance Director / Manager – Power Solutions & EMS Industry

About the role

The Group seeks a senior finance leader to drive financial transformation and support growth across its Power Solutions and EMS businesses in China and Hong Kong. Reporting to senior business leaders, you will oversee all finance functions, ensure compliance, and enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial management transformation projects to optimise workflows and policies for the Group and its subsidiaries in the PRC.
• Manage a finance team responsible for reporting, budgeting, taxation, treasury, and cash management.
• Partner with business leaders to achieve growth, profitability and operational efficiency across business units.
• Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, investment evaluation, costing and risk management for Hong Kong and PRC entities.
• Analyse performance data, identify trends, and provide actionable financial recommendations to senior management.
• Develop and implement financial policies and processes to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Maintain relationships with banks, auditors, financial institutions and other stakeholders.
• Conduct due‑diligence and process‑improvement initiatives, and monitor portfolio companies’ financial governance and audit procedures.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with Big‑4 training and ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• University degree; MBA, CFA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of financial management experience in large organisations, including at least 5 years in a Finance Director or equivalent role.
• Deep knowledge of Hong Kong and PRC accounting standards, taxation regulations and listing rules.
• Experience in the PRC manufacturing sector is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with banks, investment banks and government bodies.
• Fluent in Chinese and English.
• Willing to be based in Shenzhen or Dongguan.
