Field Service Engineer - EL Service Business

About the role

ABB's EL service business in China is looking for a Field Service Engineer in Xiamen. The role reports to the Field Service Manager and involves executing service work of low to medium complexity according to work instructions, ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines, with a first-time-right approach to each customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Help design service solutions and implement them for projects.
• Provide on-site installation and commissioning of MNS and Digital products, and monitor project progress as scheduled.
• Handle on-site quality problems and support customers in solving them, collecting customer feedback and quality issue data for further analysis and improvement.
• Deliver equipment safely to customers and coordinate internal and external resources to resolve project issues.
• Offer professional training to customers.
• Support service sales in developing the business market and maintaining customer relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2 years or more of relevant work experience.
• Major in Electrical Engineering, Automation or a related field.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Ability to adapt to frequent business travel and to work in harsh conditions.
