Field Sales Engineer

About the role

As a Field Sales Engineer you will act as the bridge between our technology and customers in the organic chemical sector. You will help shape sales strategies, build strong relationships, and deliver tailored heat‑exchanger solutions that meet market needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer relationships while gathering project information across petrochemical, coal‑chemical, bio‑chemical, polymer and specialty chemical segments.
• Define sales strategy, profit margins and market‑share targets in collaboration with management.
• Plan and lead high‑level customer meetings to strengthen partnerships and motivate purchase decisions.
• Identify and manage sales agents or distributors, selling Alfalaval products either through the channel or directly.
• Coordinate with the central technical team on international projects, product adaptation and engineering assistance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of sales or application‑technical support experience, preferably with heat exchangers in the organic chemical industry.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Process Equipment, Machinery or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal communication, cross‑cultural awareness and ability to perform under pressure.
• Willingness to travel as required.
