3M is a global innovation‑driven company that encourages curiosity and creativity. The ESC Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing supply chain activities for an assigned area, leading planning and process analysts, and driving improvements across the supply chain.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for supply chain activities for the assigned area.
- Supervises and directs planning and process analysts and various supply chain support personnel.
- May act as commercial vertical planning lead and manage inventory management.
- Identifies, defines, and implements improvements to supply chain processes.
- Partners with product managers, global planning team, and commercial team to respond to changing business conditions.
- Performs complex supply chain, supply planning, and distribution analysis.
- Manages professional and support‑level employees within disciplines such as supply planning, warehousing, transportation, inventory/materials control, and import/export.
