English Teacher (ESL) – China

About the role

English 1 is seeking enthusiastic English teachers to deliver ESL instruction to young learners (ages 3‑16) across China. This full‑time position offers the chance to live abroad, gain international classroom experience, and develop professionally while immersing yourself in Chinese culture.

Key responsibilities

• Teach English as a Foreign Language (EFL) using a structured curriculum and modern classroom technology.
• Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that promote communicative language teaching (CLT).
• Monitor student progress, provide personalized feedback, and adapt instruction to individual needs.
• Participate in school events, cultural exchange activities, and extracurricular programs.
• Maintain a dynamic, student‑focused learning environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Valid passport and clean background check.
• Interest in international education, travel, and cultural exchange.
• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification preferred (sponsorship available for qualified candidates).
