Electronic System Engineer – EC Motor Project

About the role

We are looking for an Electronic System Engineer to join Bosch’s Comfort Actuator Business Unit in Shanghai. The role focuses on an innovative seat‑adjustment project that will be the first within the BU to integrate an EC (electrically commutated) motor.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the electronics development for the EC‑motor‑driven seat system, covering hardware design and integration.
• Develop and validate the ECU controller that manages motor control, safety functions and communication with vehicle networks.
• Collaborate with the CN development team to ensure the concept meets performance, reliability and cost targets.
• Support future extensions of the technology into smart‑cabin applications such as electric slide rails and pre‑crash systems.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in automotive electronics or similar high‑performance embedded systems.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a cross‑functional team.
