EEA System Architect (ZCU) – Zone Controller Platform

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Zone Controller (ZCU) System Architect to lead the system‑level design, technical definition, and mass‑production delivery of our next‑generation zone controller platform. You will own the full architecture of distributed zone units within a Central Computing + Zone EEA framework, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost‑effectiveness across vehicle grades.

Key responsibilities

• Define the complete system architecture of vehicle zone controllers, including functional partitioning, I/O allocation, hardware capability planning, and specification formulation.
• Develop unified ZCU platform specifications for flexible deployment across different vehicle configurations.
• Design Ethernet/TSN networking strategy, VLAN partitioning, SOME/IP & DDS communication rules, and network load scheduling.
• Optimize communication latency, jitter, and bandwidth to guarantee real‑time operation.
• Design power distribution logic, partial power‑off strategies, and vehicle wake‑up/sleep management.
• Define fault detection, degradation, and self‑recovery mechanisms for ZCU.
• Create layered OTA upgrade strategies covering firmware, services, silent upgrades, and rollback.
• Coordinate with ADAS, cockpit, chassis, and platform teams to unify interfaces and specifications.
• Analyze and resolve system‑level issues such as network anomalies, logic conflicts, and power sequence failures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or related field.
• 5+ years of system architecture experience in central + zone EEA architectures, preferably with complete ZCU mass‑production projects.
• Familiarity with new‑energy vehicle electronic architecture and L2‑L4 intelligent driving features.
