Economics Teacher – Senior School

About the role

Hangzhou Dipont School of Arts and Science is seeking enthusiastic Economics teachers for its Senior School program. You will deliver IGCSE and A‑Level economics curricula, helping students understand market dynamics, policy decisions, and global economic issues.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging economics lessons for Grades 9‑12, aligned with IGCSE and CIE A‑Level standards.
• Use case studies, real‑world data, and interactive activities to develop students' analytical and critical‑thinking skills.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support exam preparation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross‑disciplinary projects and maintain a dual‑language immersion environment.
• Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Passion for student development and confidence in their ability to learn.
• Willingness to learn and apply Chinese educational standards and new teaching technologies.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Ability to work effectively in a bilingual (English‑Chinese) setting.
