Director, Services Business Development

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Director of Services Business Development to lead strategic initiatives for key clients in Beijing. The role combines consulting expertise, client relationship management, and cross‑functional leadership to drive growth and deliver tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify critical problem aspects and develop new insights for client challenges.
• Translate objectives into hypotheses, design analyses, and formulate actionable recommendations.
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team through large‑scale projects, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.
• Drive interview programs, synthesize findings, and present persuasive deliverables.
• Build and maintain senior‑level client relationships, uncover new sales opportunities, and support proposal development.
• Capture and disseminate assignment knowledge across the firm and contribute to Intellectual Capital.
• Leverage Mastercard Advisors capabilities and subject‑matter experts to craft customized solutions.
• Participate in recruiting, training, and developing team members.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree required; MBA or relevant postgraduate degree preferred.
• Consulting experience at a top‑rated firm.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and influence senior stakeholders.
