Director of Apparel Product Line Management – Greater China

About the role

The Director of Apparel Local Creation GC leads Nike’s Apparel Product Line Management organization for the Greater China market. Reporting to the Senior Director, this role shapes product strategy, drives consumer‑focused innovation, and ensures the delivery of locally relevant apparel that fuels growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a high‑performing PLM team, including people managers, to execute product strategy across the Greater China portfolio.
• Translate consumer, marketplace and business insights into compelling product directions and new‑product concepts.
• Partner with Design, Technical Development, Sourcing, Costing, Merchandising, Planning, Finance, Brand, Marketplace and Sports teams.
• Oversee near‑shore creation capabilities and drive innovation that aligns with regional trends.
• Collaborate with global partners to bring consumer‑right products to market quickly and profitably.

Required profile

• 10+ years in apparel product management, merchandising, category strategy or related fields.
• Deep understanding of apparel creation, product storytelling, trend forecasting and Greater China consumer insights.
• Proven ability to turn insights into commercially successful product solutions.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving growth and profitability.
• Experience leading multi‑level, inclusive teams and influencing across a matrix organization.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder alignment and ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments.
