Director, Clinical Project Management - Oncology

About the role

iQVIA is looking for a Director of Clinical Project Management for its Global Project Leadership Team (Oncology) based in Shanghai. You will lead the end-to-end delivery of complex global oncology clinical studies and programs, acting as the main point of contact for sponsors and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex global oncology clinical studies and programs, ensuring quality, timelines, budgets and customer satisfaction.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors and stakeholders, building strong client relationships and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive cross-functional global teams to achieve study milestones, proactively identify and mitigate risks and resolve operational challenges.
• Lead complex multinational and multi-regional clinical trials (MRCTs), ensuring successful execution across regions including China, the US and Europe.
• Influence and drive results across a global matrix organization without direct reporting authority.
• Support business development activities such as RFP responses, bid defenses, client presentations and strategic account growth.
• Partner with sponsors on their development strategies and contribute to client retention, expansion and new business.

Required profile

• 10+ years of project management experience in CRO, pharmaceutical or biotechnology organizations, including 7+ years independently leading global clinical projects or programs.
• Strong oncology clinical trial experience.
• Proven track record as a Project Lead for complex global and multi-regional clinical studies (MRCTs).
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
