Direct Retail Specialist

About the role

The Direct Retail Specialist will ensure Cathay’s digital channels deliver a competitive presence, driving online traffic and revenue. You will manage website and mobile content, launch local campaigns, and use analytics to continuously optimise performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage retailing of air and non‑air offers across web and mobile platforms, creating channel‑exclusive promotions.
• Maintain high‑quality content on all Cathay digital channels, ensuring brand tone, grammar and imagery standards.
• Operate the Adobe Experience Manager CMS to publish content quickly and accurately.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to uphold customer experience and brand consistency.
• Coordinate with the Regional Office on technical website developments and global updates.
• Design and execute digital campaigns to grow the airline’s contact database and drive ancillary revenue.
• Use Google Analytics to monitor performance, identify opportunities and improve traffic quality.
• Analyse sales performance in direct digital channels and report on revenue targets, route performance and product contribution.
• Implement page‑level SEO and support SEM activities to maximise search visibility.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing website content and digital retail initiatives.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret web analytics data.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with regional teams and external partners.
• Detail‑oriented approach to maintain brand standards across digital assets.
