DevOps Engineer III

About the role

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our technology team and help shape the future of global commerce. In this role you will ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical payment platforms while driving automation, resilience, and operational excellence across our global infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and resilient infrastructure and services across cloud and containerized environments.
• Drive reliability initiatives through chaos engineering, game days, incident analysis, performance testing, and disaster‑recovery validation.
• Develop automation and self‑service capabilities using DevOps and GitOps practices to improve operational efficiency.
• Build and enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions to proactively identify performance, security, and availability issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Technical Operations teams to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and network problems and evolve site‑reliability best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering.
• Proven experience supporting highly available production environments with strong monitoring, incident management, and operational‑excellence skills.
• Ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required skills

• Kubernetes and OpenShift (or similar container orchestration platforms).
• AWS EKS or comparable cloud container services.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform.
• Configuration‑management tools like Ansible.
• CI/CD pipelines and automation tools, e.g., Jenkins.
• GitOps practices and tools.
• Chaos engineering techniques and reliability testing.
• Observability and monitoring platforms (alerting, metrics, tracing).
