Data Scientist

About the role

This Data Scientist position focuses on turning fab manufacturing data into actionable insights that help solve yield, process, and engineering challenges. You will work closely with yield and process engineers to enable data‑driven decision‑making across the factory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver data analysis tools and methodologies for engineers.
• Detect and diagnose yield or process issues quickly through signal detection.
• Improve yield, quality, and cost efficiency to meet Quality, Output, and Cost targets.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Machine Learning, Computer Science or related field (Ph.D. preferred).
• 3‑4 years of experience in data application development, analytics, computer vision, deep learning or large language models.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and presentation abilities.
• Self‑motivated passion for data science and ability to work in a fast‑paced semiconductor environment.

Required skills

• Predictive modeling, clustering, dimensionality reduction, anomaly detection.
• Proficiency in Python, JMP or R.
• SQL, Hadoop and Spark experience.
• Machine learning, deep learning and computer vision techniques.
• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes is a plus.
