Customer Trainer – Beijing

About the role

The Customer Trainer will join the Training team in Beijing and report directly to the Training Manager. You will be responsible for delivering da Vinci® Surgical System training to physicians, OR teams, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring they acquire the skills needed to operate the robotic platform safely and effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct da Vinci® Surgical System training programs for surgical teams at regional training centers.
• Lead specialized training sessions and support academic society events.
• Facilitate simulation sessions to prepare customers for live cases or refresh skills.
• Provide on‑site technical training, assess robotic competencies, and support troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Manage training center logistics, inventory, calendar, and contractual agreements.
• Coordinate with marketing, sales, and other stakeholders to align training resources with business needs.
• Contribute to budget planning, resource allocation, and financial reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in training, professional education, or clinical settings.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Clinical Medicine.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, surgical applications, and operating‑room environments.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 40 % of the time.
