About the role

IQVIA, a global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence, is looking for a consultant in its China office. The role delivers high-quality, on-time input to life sciences client projects, ranging from basic analysis and problem solving to helping develop more complex solutions. It may involve leading small teams or work streams.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse client requirements or problems and help develop proposals and client solutions
• Help develop detailed documentation and specifications
• Perform quantitative or qualitative analyses to identify client issues and build client-specific solutions
• Design and complete presentations suited to the audience's needs
• Develop and present complete client deliverables within agreed frameworks and methodologies
• Build knowledge of consulting methods and the life sciences market through engagements and learning opportunities

Engagement-based responsibilities are assigned and managed by Senior Consultants, Engagement Managers or Principals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree; a background in medicine or business management is an advantage
• 4-8 years of related experience
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues inside and across the organisation
• Effective time management skills

Required skills

• Knowledge of business processes and how they interact, and of the impact of internal and external factors on decisions
• Knowledge of consulting methods, tools and techniques in your functional area
• Understanding of the marketplace, current industry trends and major competitors
• Knowledge of professional and trade associations, key people and companies
