Construction Structural Superintendent

About the role

SBM Offshore is seeking a Construction Structural Superintendent to lead all construction and commissioning activities for the structural discipline on offshore projects. You will act as the primary liaison between engineering, procurement, and site teams, ensuring that work is performed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily on‑site operations for the structural discipline, including workforce, material handling, and equipment usage.
• Monitor progress against the project schedule and implement corrective actions to maintain timelines.
• Enforce HSSE protocols and ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Lead inspections, testing, and verification activities for structural hull and topsides components.
• Manage changes to the discipline’s scope of work and maintain accurate progress and quality records.
• Mentor and supervise construction supervisors and team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in construction and commissioning of offshore structural projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams on complex sites.
• Strong understanding of HSSE, quality control, and risk management processes.
