Communications Strategist, Global Communications

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Communications Strategist to lead multi‑channel content initiatives for global clients. You will combine strategic consulting, high‑impact writing, and partnership management to deliver tailored communication solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client consultation sessions and design comprehensive, multi‑channel content strategies.
• Produce high‑quality press releases, brand stories, and other engaging content.
• Generate analysis reports with actionable optimization recommendations and data‑driven insights.
• Participate in client planning meetings, present integrated communication plans, and travel for client visits as needed.
• Monitor global communication trends, especially in US and European media, and provide market insights.
• Leverage PR Newswire’s MultiVu‑Channel solutions (paid media, earned media, OOH, etc.) to integrate press releases with broader digital marketing efforts.
• Design customized communication solution packages based on local client needs.
• Manage external vendor resources, evaluate partners, and build long‑term relationships.
• Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to support sales campaigns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 + years of experience in corporate communications, a PR agency, or media/journalism.
• Extensive content creation and writing background; journalism experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of integrated marketing and communication strategies across digital (social media, content platforms, PR distribution networks) and offline channels (events, exhibitions).
• Familiarity with the media landscape; an overseas media network is a plus.
• Creative problem‑solver with excellent communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, customer‑centric, and collaborative team player.
