Communication Lead

About the role

The Communication Lead will shape and execute Boehringer Ingelheim's corporate communication strategy, ensuring a consistent brand narrative across internal and external audiences. Working closely with Corporate Affairs and senior leadership, the role drives media engagement, executive messaging, and employee communication to support business priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic corporate PR campaigns and media engagement initiatives.
• Develop and deliver executive communication strategies, including speeches, talking points, and briefing materials.
• Design and implement media relations plans to expand journalist networks and secure coverage.
• Monitor communication effectiveness, media coverage, and stakeholder sentiment.
• Support crisis communication planning, issue monitoring, and reputation management.
• Coordinate internal communication initiatives, such as town halls and leadership messaging, to align employees with company strategy.

Required profile

• University degree in Journalism, Communication, Chinese or English language.
• 5‑8 years of experience in communication within multinational corporations, media, PR agencies, or related fields.
• Strong strategic planning and implementation abilities.
• Excellent written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
