Clinical Operations Systems Implementation Consultant

About the role

Veeva Systems is seeking a driven Consultant to lead the implementation of its Vault Clinical Suite for life‑science customers in China. As a key member of the China Professional Services team, you will work side‑by‑side with customers and solution architects to configure and deploy cloud‑based clinical operations applications.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in projects designing and deploying Vault Clinical systems (eTMF, CTMS, Payments).
• Rapidly configure and implement the Vault Clinical suite in the cloud.
• Lead requirements workshops, design prototypes, and document solutions.
• Manage project resources, lead cross‑functional teams, and track progress and forecasts.
• Ensure customer success throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Mentor junior consultants and project team members.
• Assist presales and sales teams with scope definition, cost estimation, and proposals.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.
• 5+ years of experience, with at least 3 years in IT consulting, professional services, or system administration for clinical operations.
• Solid knowledge of drug clinical operations processes and relevant regulations.
• Experience with content or data management systems and ability to translate business requirements into solution designs.
• Proven stakeholder‑management and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Willingness to travel 25‑50% within China and legal right to work in Shanghai.
