China Business Development Manager

About the role

Acclime is seeking a full‑time Business Development Manager to drive growth in China. You will identify new business opportunities, build and maintain client relationships, and support revenue generation through proactive networking, partner development, and value‑added advisory during the sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Promote Acclime’s corporate, accounting, tax and advisory services across the Chinese market.
• Meet hundreds of clients and partners annually to understand their needs and generate qualified leads.
• Lead tracking, active follow‑up and closing of deals to meet sales targets.
• Organise and attend industry events, webinars and networking sessions.
• Conduct market research, analyse trends and provide actionable insights to internal teams.
• Collaborate with service teams to design tailored solutions for prospective and existing clients.
• Occasionally execute cold‑approach outreach to complement marketing activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Several years of experience in business development or sales within professional services or corporate environments.
• Strong understanding of corporate, accounting, tax and advisory services, especially in the Asian market.
• Proven ability to work against defined KPIs and achieve joint company goals.
• Existing network with US and EU‑based companies is advantageous.

Required skills

• Fluency in English; German, French or Mandarin language skills are a plus.
• Excellent communication, networking and relationship‑building abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the capacity to interpret market data and identify opportunities.
