Business Operations Specialist – Office Management

About the role

The Business Operations Specialist will support Boeing China Co., Ltd. in Beijing, ensuring smooth office operations, safety, compliance, and stakeholder engagement across the site. This position offers exposure to Boeing’s global matrix organization and collaboration with teams throughout Asia and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day office operations, including facility, furniture and equipment maintenance.
• Oversee local procurement, office supplies, corporate cards, and contract administration.
• Support reception duties and conduct bi‑weekly GEMBA walks to identify improvement opportunities.
• Process purchase requisitions, invoices, and ensure compliant, efficient workflows.
• Lead Operational Excellence initiatives for China, applying Kaizen methods to processes, costs, and workplace operations.
• Track, analyze, and report cost performance against budget.
• Partner with regional BGES teams on sustainability initiatives.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for workplace operations.
• Provide support for other Boeing sites in China as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in business operations or a related function within a multinational corporation.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Intermediate proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Intermediate computer skills with office productivity tools and common business systems.
• Methodical, detail‑oriented, and able to deliver high‑quality work under pressure.
