Business Development Manager – Aviation Services

About the role

As a Business Development professional within a wholly‑owned aviation technology service enterprise of Airbus Group, you will help expand our presence across the Asia‑Pacific region. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new partnerships, markets and service models that drive growth for our aircraft component lifecycle solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business partners, including OEMs, airlines, MROs and lessors.
• Identify and pursue new market opportunities to increase business volume.
• Design innovative service models such as PBH component repair and repair management.
• Explore new business domains like STC and local manufacturing in collaboration with engineering.
• Formulate component service strategies for Airbus China and ELTRA.
• Lead independent projects and support Airbus BD teams on multiple initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Development, Commercial or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in business development, commercial or procurement within the aviation sector.
• Proven track record working with OEMs, MROs and lessors on commercial aircraft.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of civil aviation commercial aircraft markets.
• Strong understanding of component lifecycle management and related services.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
