Business Controller

About the role

As a Business Controller you will be at the core of our financial operations, providing accurate and timely reporting that supports strategic decision‑making. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will help shape the financial health of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable, cost accounting and the preparation of financial reports.
• Develop and maintain planning and budgeting systems.
• Prepare and present financial and management reports to senior management.
• Analyze financial trends and highlight issues requiring management attention.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal reporting standards.
• Design analytical tools and reports in line with local statutory practices.
• Improve internal controls to safeguard assets and support investment payback.
• Drive continuous improvement of business control processes and support the organization with actionable insights.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field (MBA a plus).
• At least 10 years of professional experience, including 3 + years in a managerial role.
• Previous experience in business control, preferably within a product‑oriented company.
• Proven track record of driving process improvements to achieve positive financial results.
• Strong team‑leadership and collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS reporting standards.
