About the role
CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on small to medium‑sized commercial buildings and their mechanical, electrical and other systems.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections, diagnose issues and carry out repairs on building equipment.
- Assist with installation, modification and energy‑management of building systems.
- Review work orders, track completion and ensure compliance with codes and safety regulations.
Required profile
- High school diploma, GED or trade school qualification with 1‑2 years of related experience.
- Ability to meet physical demands such as lifting 50 lb, climbing ladders and standing for extended periods.
- Basic communication skills and ability to follow established procedures.
Required skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical building systems maintenance.
