Assistant Manager, Finance & Tax

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Finance & Tax to lead the legal entity in China. The role is responsible for ensuring financial compliance of statutory statements and acting as the main liaison with tax authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the legal entity in China, accountable for the compliance of statutory financial statements.
• Serve as the primary contact with local government and tax authorities, handling tax and reporting obligations under PRC laws.
• Build and maintain transparent, trust‑based relationships with tax and other government bodies.
• Act as the main point of contact for finance and tax service providers and internal business functions to ensure efficient communication and reporting.
• Coordinate the timely and accurate submission of group reporting packages and local statutory reports.
• Collaborate with external tax service providers on tax filings, accounting, credit rating management and related matters.
• Lead finance‑related projects such as tax compliance initiatives and employee reimbursement system implementation.
• Support and coordinate tax inspections and audits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance or tax compliance within China.
• Strong knowledge of PRC accounting and tax regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with government authorities and external service providers.
• Proactive business partner mindset, capable of delivering tailored finance and tax advice.
