Assistant Manager, APAC Technical and Documentation Services

About the role

The Assistant Manager will support the APAC region by managing technical process data, technical data sheets (TDS) and training documentation for a portfolio of paint brands. This role acts as a regional and global interface, ensuring that sales teams and customers have up‑to‑date technical information and training material.

Key responsibilities

• Create, modify and publish technical data sheets for APAC and global products using the UNICORN platform.
• Provide user management, training and support for the UNICORN TDS tool.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation across platforms such as Glasurit Know‑How, InfoRM and brand webpages.
• Produce and update paint manuals for strategic accounts and commercial vehicle segments in all required languages.
• Support technical label data updates and respond to product, process and paint system inquiries.
• Handle email inquiries and product complaints for the APAC Technical Service Center, coordinating with local service centers, marketing, applications teams and laboratories.
• Initiate and coordinate technical tests, generate detailed reports and recommendations for customers.
• Use Microsoft Office, Salesforce and SAP for documentation, correspondence and task coordination.
• Create APAC‑TSC news, maintain the Wikipaint database and distribute relevant information to service centers.

Required profile

• University degree with a laboratory or technician focus.
• Ability to work autonomously and responsibly.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English; German is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
