Asset Specialist – Inventory & Forecast Management

About the role

The Asset Specialist will lead inventory planning for high‑value, high‑complexity customer demand in our Shenzhen hub. You will work closely with sales, supply‑chain, and digital teams to ensure accurate forecasts, optimal stock levels, and efficient consignment operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and pipeline inventory for high‑dollar, large‑part‑count customer orders.
• Upload Arrow‑generated and customer forecasts to e‑compass, handling exceptions and resolving issues.
• Review and adjust e‑compass parameters to meet inventory turn targets.
• Utilise Manugistics where applicable to improve forecast input quality.
• Manage complex In‑Plant Stores and consignment engagements to maximise supply adequacy and turns.
• Control excess inventory, focusing on slow‑moving or obsolete items.
• Collaborate with sales and supply‑chain teams to propose alternative supply‑chain solutions.
• Set up consignments, kanban systems, and ABC low‑value analyses for the regional planning team.
• Support Digital Supply Chain Solutions and Sales during new engagement roll‑outs.
• Act as regional inventory champion on CPI and other task‑force initiatives.
• Provide training and mentorship to new material planners and serve as backup for the Regional Materials Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 2–4 years of related experience.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work under general supervision.
• Experience in inventory management, forecasting, and supply‑chain processes.
