Area Training Manager

About the role

The Area Training Manager will lead the sales training strategy for Novartis, ensuring that sales teams across the region have the capabilities needed to meet performance goals. This role combines curriculum design, digital learning solutions, and coaching to continuously improve sales effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Identify regional capability gaps and learning needs and define up‑skilling plans.
• Design, deliver and optimise learning solutions, including e‑learning courses and AI‑driven assessment tools.
• Lead the execution of central learning programmes and regional learning projects.
• Drive digital transformation of training solutions and collaborate with sales leaders to sponsor learning initiatives.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to integrate training resources that reinforce processes and procedures.
• Support course design using best practices and empower trainers through regular check‑ins and feedback.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical training, sales or marketing.
• Proven track record in developing training materials and delivering sales‑skill training.
• Strong background in coaching and facilitating learning programmes.
• Fluent in English.
