Application Engineer – Materials & Semiconductor Solutions

About the role

Applied Materials designs, builds and services cutting‑edge equipment for display and semiconductor manufacturing. The Application Engineer will work directly with customers to solve complex technical challenges and drive innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify complex problems at customer sites and drive solutions through the full work cycle.
• Lead recipe creation to optimize system performance and train PSE/AEs in recipe development.
• Perform application qualification of new technologies, execute beta‑sites, evaluations and demos at customer locations.
• Participate in customer demo activities and technical review meetings.
• Create new methodologies to optimize system performance for specific applications.
