Analysis & Control Sr. Analyst II

About the role

The Analysis & Control Senior Analyst II will support the Shenzhen branch by delivering accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and control activities. This position works closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and precise data for both branch‑level and consolidated reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily ratio reports for branch and consolidated levels, covering actuals and estimates.
• Compile and submit local regulator reports, including PBOC, NFRA, SAFE, statistics, and irregularity surveys.
• Participate in system User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate new functionalities.
• Generate Head‑Office reports such as M1T1 and Fixed Assets reports.
• Perform control activities including system reconciliation, Nostro reconciliation, and suspense account monitoring.
• Set up standing orders in the Equation system for monthly accruals or amortizations and post related entries.
• Review vendor and staff payments processed by external vendors and verify expense entries.
• Prepare VAT filings, verify VAT invoices, and handle WHT and CIT filings.
• Provide support for external and internal audits.
• Execute ad‑hoc tasks as required by the finance department.

Required profile

• Strong background in financial analysis and control.
• Experience with regulatory reporting in a banking environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with complex data sets.
