Account Manager, Cross-Border (Marketplace)

About the role

JD.com is looking for an Account Manager to drive the growth of Chinese sellers on its global marketplace. You will act as the main point of contact for new and existing sellers, guiding them through onboarding, shop setup, and expansion across product categories.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new Chinese sellers, managing the full onboarding and shop setup process.
• Build and maintain long‑term partnerships with both large brands and innovative small sellers.
• Support sellers in using JD.com’s tools, services, and programs to grow their businesses.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and performance data to uncover growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, Category, and Marketing teams to deliver seller‑focused solutions.
• Track and achieve KPIs for seller acquisition, activation, and account growth.
• Collect seller feedback and share it with internal teams to improve the platform.

Required profile

• Approximately 3 years of experience in cross‑border e‑commerce seller acquisition, merchant operations, or related fields.
• Proven ability to build seller ecosystems from scratch (0→1) or launch new sellers successfully.
• Fluent in English for written and daily communication.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to establish trusted relationships with Chinese sellers.
