Vice President – Global Corporate Banking (Large‑Cap, China)

About the role

As a Vice President for the EPRM team of the Large‑Cap segment within Global Corporate Bank, you will originate, develop and manage relationships with China‑headquartered companies across sectors such as energy/renewable, power, metals/mining, EPC and manufacturing. The division promotes corporate banking products and solutions as well as investment‑banking offerings to its clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, originate, pursue and execute business opportunities for a broad range of corporate banking products and services.
• Manage complex, multi‑product client relationships as the primary global coverage manager.
• Coordinate sales and service efforts of multiple internal business partners and stakeholders.
• Proactively market to clients and prospects, represent the Corporate Client Banking group in local business communities and develop referral networks.
• Collaborate with the credit risk team on structuring, negotiation and documentation of credit requests.
• Maintain strategic dialogue with clients and prospects to generate ongoing corporate banking, financial markets, payment & treasury and credit opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and JPMorgan Chase policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of client‑facing experience in Corporate & Commercial Banking, Investment Banking, Financial Markets or Payment & Treasury Services.
• Proven track record as a Client Coverage/Relationship Manager delivering corporate banking and investment‑banking solutions.
• Strong knowledge of credit, corporate finance, payments & treasury, markets and investment‑banking products.
• Leadership ability in financial‑services sales and business development with solid analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication, self‑motivation and dependable teamwork.
• Sector experience in energy/commodity, power, renewables or EPC is a plus.
