Trademark Attorney – Intellectual Property Team

About the role

Atlas Copco’s Intellectual Property team in Wuxi is seeking a qualified Trademark Attorney to strengthen its IP portfolio, protect the business and support the identification and development of IP across its Chinese group companies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the trademark portfolio in line with divisional IP strategy and local policies.
• Conduct trademark searches, advise on registrations and monitor the Chinese trademark database for potential conflicts.
• Coordinate with external IP law firms, internal marketing, e‑commerce platforms and Atlas Copco’s global IP teams.
• Investigate possible infringement, devise action plans and collaborate with legal and business units.
• Maintain internal trademark databases, produce detailed reports and provide training to employees and IP teams.

Required profile

• LL.B or equivalent law degree; licensed attorney admitted to practice law.
• Minimum five years of experience in Intellectual Property law, brand protection or IP litigation with solid knowledge of trademarks and copyright.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English.
• Customer‑oriented, strong problem‑solving abilities, able to prioritize deadlines and work effectively in a team.
