Thermal Management Design Engineer – Process & Manufacturing

About the role

Join Bosch Group as a Thermal Management Design Engineer focusing on process and manufacturing. You will work onsite in Changsha with a joint development team to create and implement thermal management modules for global customer projects.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve manufacturing and assembly process challenges.
• Provide practical expertise in injection molding, metal fabrication, forging, rubber compounding, and welding.
• Collaborate onsite with the UAES joint development team to develop base designs and apply them to customer projects.
• Assume full ownership of the technical domain after onboarding and support an international team in deploying solutions worldwide.

Required profile

• Degree in Energy Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum two years of experience in thermal management product development.
• Familiarity with selection and application of thermal management sub‑components, interface design, system architectures, and performance specifications.
• Knowledge of testing and validation methodologies for thermal management systems.
• Strong logical reasoning, goal‑driven mindset, and collaborative communication style.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written); German is a plus.
