System Software Architect – Power Electronics

About the role

Visteon is looking for a System Software Architect to lead the development of power electronics controller software, including On‑Board Chargers (OBC) and DC‑DC converters. You will work closely with customers and internal cross‑functional teams to translate system specifications into robust software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead software development and delivery of features for Power Electronics products.
• Define and refine software specifications based on customer requirements and design constraints.
• Collaborate with platform, hardware, and global software teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Support new customer pursuits, initiate projects aligned with Visteon’s electrification roadmap, and create technical content for proposals.
• Develop software architecture that meets cybersecurity and functional safety standards.
• Mentor the PE software team, conduct code reviews, and produce technical documentation.

Required profile

• Strong background in safety‑critical embedded controller software development.
• Experience with modern computational technologies applied to integrated power electronics.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex software projects.
